The Story
At 19, Bandaru Mouneesh, a student of SSDC's 13th Batch (2025), has already overcome challenges that shaped his outlook on life. Hailing from Nethiguttalapalle near Punganur, he grew up in a modest farming family and understood early on the importance of becoming financially independent.
A tragic incident during his childhood—the loss of a cousin to suicide—left him emotionally withdrawn and fearful of interacting with others. Instead of receiving support, he often faced criticism in school, which further affected his confidence. Though he continued his education, he often felt overlooked and struggled to find his voice.
Everything changed when he joined SSDC. Here, he found a supportive environment where teachers encouraged rather than criticized. Through computer training, communication classes, and group activities, Mouneesh gradually rebuilt his confidence. He began participating actively, helping others, and expressing himself without fear.
Today, Mouneesh sees SSDC as more than a training centre—it is a place that helped him regain trust in himself. Inspired by his own experiences, he dreams of starting a school one day where education is affordable, inclusive, and free from fear or punishment.
His message to others is simple: "Practice every day and never give up. With the right support, you can overcome any challenge."
