K Narasimha

A batch 4 alumnus, Narasimha says, "I joined the Satsang Skill Development Centre because wanted to support my family financially. I had discontinued my studies in 11th grade due to pressure from teachers. Subsequently, I worked as a daily wage worker to support my family. I wanted to improve my skills to gain better employment.


The SSDC course helped me in areas such as confidence building, people interactions, Tally Accounting and facing interviews. This course helped me learn many unknown things in life and I was able to surf the internet by myself.


With the help of SSDC I got placed in a job in a company. I am now able to support my family with my income. I will recommend this course at SSDC to all the students like me who have discontinued their studies and want a change in their lifestyle, but think they don't have a chance as they lack the necessary skills or knowledge."

I joined Batch 4 of Satsang Skill Development Centre after completing my 12th grade. Due to the pandemic, colleges didn't seem to be reopening any time soon. So, I joined SSDC to learn basic computers and accounting. I also wanted to support my family financially and be independent. I opted for this course when I learned that I could learn job skills

while pursuing a distance learning undergraduate course. The SSDC course helped me in facing interviews, learning tally accounting, people interactions and English-speaking ability. With the help of SSDC I got placed in a job in a company named Humus Pvt. Ltd. , Bangalore (a vegetables & fruits mart) and now I am able to contribute towards my family’s income and lead an independent life. I was also able to join a college where I'm pursuing B. Com - Computer Applications through distance learning. I would recommend this course to students like me who are worried about their family's financial situations and don't want to compromise their academic progress as the course helps you in learning new skills and finding employment while allowing you to pursue studies.

A Batch 4 alumunus, I joined SSDC as I wanted to develop my skills to have better employment opportunities. The course helped me with people interactions, in learning Tally Accounting, it improved my typing speed, in facing interviews and above all, in developing my self-confidence. With the help of SSDC, I got placed in a company called Humus Pvt Ltd.,Bangalore as the floor in-charge. I am now able to contribute towards my family’s income. I was promoted to the post of Manager within 3 months of joining the company by applying the skills I learned at SSDC in my workspace. Of course, in the past I had worked as a teacher and as a Quality Chemist. But I lacked communication skills. The course helped me improve my English speaking abilities, listening abilities and in people interactions. SSDC gave me hope, encouragement and helped me build self-confidence. I will recommend SSDC to any individual who wishes to improve or develop skills which will help in their life growth.

"I joined the 4th Batch of SSDC in November 2020 after completion of my degree, in the hope of learning and developing my skills in MS Office and Tally Accounting that helped me in finding respectable employment. The course helped me in facing interviews, interacting with people, learning Tally. It helped me in removing my stage fear, and in building my self-confidence.

I got placed in a company named Humus Pvt. Ltd. In Bangalore as the Billing Executive and floor in charge. With the skills that I learned from SSDC I was able to adjust in my workplace very easily. Bangalore is a hub of many languages. But the most spoken language is Kannada which I did not know at all. I was able to get over the language barrier with the help of English-speaking skills that I learned at SSDC.

I believe that the course is really helpful for many youngsters like me. I will recommend this course to other aspirants out there as this course helps us learn skills at our own pace."

I joined the 3rd batch of SSDC soon after I completed my 12th Standard. I decided to utilise my spare time to learn practical skills that would help me in shaping my life as I also wanted to work simultaneously. I had to contribute to my family’s income and thus, this was a convenient opportunity for me to learn at SSDC. My interest was in Accounting. The course structure at SSDC along with the trainers and coaches helped me acquire hands-on skills in Tally Accounting while giving me confidence in Spoken English, Basic Mathematics and Computer skills. Life Skills training gave me the courage to face interviews and boosted my confidence. At the end of the course, I got placed in a finance BPO in Bangalore with a good starting salary in January 2020. I had to discontinue after 3 months due to Covid and return to my hometown, Madanapalle by April 2020. The SSDC team helped me find a job with The Satsang Foundation in October 2020 and I currently work here as an Assistant Accountant. Subsequently, I also took up my undergraduate studies via distance learning while working at The Satsang Foundation.

I am an alumnus of Batch 3 of SSDC and a native of Kuppam, a village situated about 100km from Madanapalle. I joined SSDC to develop my communication skills and to learn basic computer skills that would help me have better employment prospects. Before I joined SSDC, I applied for jobs, but I could not clear job interviews as I did not possess basic skills that are required in today’s world. The SSDC course helped me gain confidence in speaking basic English, learning basic computer skills and Tally Accounting. The Life Skills module helped me with my self-confidence and helped me address my fears. With the help of SSDC I got placed in a BPO in Bangalore with a good starting salary. I then moved to Flipkart as a Data Entry Operator at a higher salary and subsequently moved to another logistics company in Bangalore at an even higher salary. I am very happy at my job and the income I earn. I thank SSDC for helping me shape my personality and for helping me find employment.
